Obama: I have it tougher than Abe Lincoln →

dont-bs-me-bro:

Um, no, he doesn’t. Bush 43 had to deal with worse, especially by the media, and for longer. Lincoln had to deal with a nation ripped apart by slavery.

Obama is reaping what he has sown, by pursuing the policies he supposedly believes in. Well, if you believe in something, you have to deal with criticisms, too. So eat your peas, you self-glorifying jackass.

Seriously, I follow your blog because it is hilarious. you didn’t disappoint here. As I dont agree he has it worse than Lincoln, trying to say Obama has had an easy time is downright ridiculous. for ONE example… making fun and tearing down this president is seen as HEROIC and PATRIOTIC by the crazies on the right, when GWB was even QUESTIONED no matter who or what it was was deemed UNAMERICAN. Give me a break GWB had it easer for just one reason… ignorance is bliss, and by far he is one of the dumber people that has ever held office.

It doesnt really matter as there isnt a real candidate on the right at all, so all you guys have is bashing the current president. if there WAS a better option, I am down to listen, but as it stands, Bachmann, Perry, Romney is all there is? sad… and well GREAT for anyone that wants Obama re-elected.

It is simply a fact that Bush was beaten down in the press every chance they got, especially by the New York Times, even in supposedly straight news stories.  Multiple studies have been done on this. The fact that you don’t believe it doesn’t make it untrue, but does indicate you don’t get your news from reliable sources.

Obama, meanwhile, enjoys virtual untouchability in the press, though that is starting to change slowly. Even the lapdogs in the mainstream media apparently have limits for how much fellating they are willling to do. They are a de facto P.R. arm of the Democratic Party, and have been for a long time, but it became pure insanity during the 2008 campaign. These people are corrupt partisan assholes who lie to the American people with impunity for purely political purposes. Again, the fact that you don’t believe it doesn’t make it untrue, but does indicate you don’t get your news from reliable sources.

I would suggest that you reign in your impulses to be so haughty about politics and do a little more reading and get better informed before you start arguing online with people who might know more than you. Knowledge is power, my friend. You are being played for a fool by assholes who think they are smarter than you, and who believe it is their job to filter the news on your behalf. That’s bullshit, pure and simple. Do not put up with it.

Obama NCAA bracket: Semi-amazing so far →

Well, he has to be good at something, I suppose.

Bill Whittle on Obama’s Friends and Enemies

President Obama and his administration’s contempt for our traditional allies, coupled with his comfort with our traditional adversaries can no longer be attributed to inexperience, or even incompetence.

It’s time to wake up and smell some coffee. President Obama misses every opportunity to support freedom around the world, and disregards our long friendship with Great Britain, yet he goes out of his way to defer to many of our worst enemies, all of whom are enemies of freedom.

When all your actions and positions belie your words, this is one problem. And when those actions and positions are contrary to closely-hold traditional American values, this is another problem. Obama does both. Constantly.

You can try and shine that up if you want. But why? And how many more examples do you need?

It is what it is. And what it is, ain’t good. Just watch. Especially if you voted for, or support Obama. Guess what? You voted for a guy that actively suppresses freedom at every opportunity.

He is as far from JFK — ideologically, on foreign policy — as a person can be.

Obama to unveil his “Baracket” Wednesday at noon

Well of course, just like FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK … ooops! Sorry. Not at all like them.
Frankly, I like my president to at least pretend he has better things to do than pander to basketball fans.
And I also like my president to resist the urge to act like he’s still just some random dude instead of the President of the United States.
Finally, I like my media outlets to resist the urge to treat my president like just another A-list celebrity. Because where I come from, that is a pretty big climb-down.
Call me kooky!
