This whole essay is really good, and echoes some things I’ve been thinking lately too. Technology is nice, for some things, some of the time, but we go way too far when we let it run our lives and replace the human connections in our lives. Which I think a lot of us tend to do, at least some of the time.
Please go read the whole thing. And think about it. You might find, like I have, that relying less on technology for social needs, and relying more on real people and real activities filling my life, makes me immeasurably happier.
